SUNDAY POST-EVENT TOUR
HISTORIC ST. JOHN'S & CAPE SPEAR BUS TOUR (3 Hours) Become acquainted with the city of St. John's and its surroundings, including Cape Spear, the most Easterly point in North America. This is the oldest colonized region in the new world and your local guide will regale you with its steeped history, legends & lore - all flavoured with their personal anecdotes and good humour from which Newfoundlanders are so famous. Enjoy the brilliant vistas from Cabot Tower and Signal Hill, one of the most recognizable skylines in Canada. Walk through a cliffside World War II gun battery, watch for whales and seabirds and visit the oldest standing lighthouse in North America. Other stops include Quidi Vidi Village, Jelly Bean Row, Government House, the Roman Catholic Basilica and an orientation of the shops and restaurants of the downtown core. A room block, with a reduced rate, is available for Restart 2020 guests for the four (4) nights of Thursday, July 09, 2020 to Sunday, July 12, 2020 (inclusive):
$119.00 CDN, per room, per night, plus 15% HST, 4.0% City Tax Levy and 3% MSF
Please note, guest rooms that offer two (2) beds can accommodate triple/quad occupancy whereas guest rooms equipped with (1) bed can accommodate single/double occupancy.

Holiday Inn St. John’s Conference Centre recognizes that attendees of “Restart 2020” may elect to arrive early or stay later to further enjoy the city of St. John’s and various parts of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. As such, the group rate will be honored, subject to availability, at the time of booking for up to 3 days prior to the Restart 2020 event and/or 3 days after the Restart 2020 event.

Individual bookings are to be guaranteed in advance with a major credit card.
During check-in guests presenting a credit card will be billed for the cost of their entire stay plus a $50 per day pre-authorization charge. The pre-authorization charge will be credited upon departure less any incidental charges and/or any damage caused to the guest room.
Guests who do not present a credit card at check-in will be charged a $300 security deposit plus the entire cost of their room stay. The cash deposit will be refunded upon check out less any incidental charges and/or any damage caused to the guest room.

Check-in time is after 3:00pm. Checkout time is 11:00am.
NO-SHOW & CANCELLATION POLICY
Individuals with guaranteed reservations who fail to arrive on the confirmed date without 24 hours’ notice will be charged a no-show fee equal to one night’s tariff based on the group rate. Those arriving on a later date compared to the original date confirmed may be charged for the original length of stay based on the Group rate. Early departures once in-house will be charged for their original confirmed length of stay.
